Polyester Lycra - Cairo 220 gr/m2

The Polyester Lycra fabric - Cairo is an elastic and soft fabric with a weight of 220 gr/m2 and a composition of 90% polyester and 10% elastane. Its printed design combines abstract and artistic styles with footprint and stain shapes in the main colors of cotton white, midnight black, and dark black. In addition to these colors, it perfectly combines with plain tones of black, white, and gray.

The fabric is digitally printed with the design on one side only. It is important to note that this fabric is printed on one side, so if it is to be used for reversible garments, it must be taken into account that the opposite side will not have the same design.

Among the general characteristics of the fabric, its elastic texture and soft touch stand out, as well as its chlorine-resistant finish and its very high UV protection factor 50+. On the other hand, the printed design adds an artistic and original touch to any garment made with this fabric.

The applications and uses of this fabric are diverse, including sportswear for women, men, and children, lingerie such as bodysuits and bras, fashion knit tops for women and men, scrunchies, bikinis, and swimsuits for both water sports and swimwear fashion.

Regarding care, it is recommended not to bleach the fabric and to wash it at a maximum temperature of 40ºC. It can be dry cleaned except with trichloroethylene, ironed at a cool temperature, and should not be tumble dried.

This fabric is manufactured with sublimation printing technology, which means that ink is applied directly to the fabric with the help of heat and pressure to obtain a high-quality and durable image. This printing process allows designs with great detail and vibrant colors to be captured without leaving excess residue on the fabric.
