The base fabric is the Tromso Antibacterial Water-Repellent Fabric, a technical fabric composed of 100% polyester with a weight of 160 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm. It stands out for being water-repellent and waterproof, offering a rough texture to the touch and an antibacterial property in its finish. The printed design features an abstract and drawn style, with a watercolor technique and blotches in a variety of main multicolor hues. This design could be combined with other plain tones such as white, black, gray, or green, depending on the application or use it will be given. The fabric is digitally printed with the design on one side.
This combination of base fabric and printed design offers great versatility of applications and uses, both in fashion and home decor and various other items. The fabric is perfect for making pants, backpacks, toiletry bags, wallets, and coin purses, but it can also be used for making frames, paintings, and cushions, for both indoor and outdoor use. Furthermore, it is an ideal fabric for making tablecloths, as it is waterproof and does not stain easily.
To properly care for this fabric, it is important to avoid bleaching and use a maximum washing temperature of 60ºC. It can be dry cleaned, but not with trichloroethylene, and should be ironed at a warm temperature. It is not suitable for tumble drying.
The printing technology used in the manufacturing of this fabric is sublimation, which is based on the application of heat and pressure to transfer ink from paper to fabric by changing state directly from solid to gas. This allows for high quality and durability in the print, ensuring that the design remains sharp and vibrant over time.
