Recycled Lycra fabric is a 190 gr/m2 lycra fabric with a composition of 85% polyester and 15% elastane, with a soft and elastic texture that makes it perfect for swimwear garments such as bikinis and swimsuits, as well as for accessories such as hair ties and scrunchies. This fabric is printed with an abstract and artisanal style design, characterized by multicolored brushstrokes and ornaments. In addition to the main colors, it could be combined with plain tones such as white, black, and pastel blues or greens.
The fabric is chlorine resistant and has very high UV protection 50+, which guarantees its durability and protection in water and sun exposure. The printed design is printed on one side using polyester sublimation technique.
This recycled fabric is GRS certified and is made from recycled materials, making it a sustainable and environmentally friendly option. Its main applications are sportswear and swimwear fashion, although it can be used in other areas depending on the designers needs and creativity.
Regarding its care, it is recommended to wash it at maximum temperatures of 40ºC, iron it at a cold temperature, and avoid bleaching and dry cleaning. Finally, polyester sublimation printing technology is an ink transfer process performed by heat and pressure, which guarantees the fidelity of the design and its durability over time.
