The base fabric is Recycled Polyester Sportswear - Basic, a versatile and sustainable fabric composed mainly of recycled polyester and a portion of elastomer to ensure the necessary comfort and elasticity in sportswear and swimwear. Its weight of 145 gr/m2 and width of 145 cm make it lightweight and easy to handle. As for the design, it is an abstract pattern of monochromatic brushstrokes that give a fresh and soft look to the fabric. The predominant shapes are circles, which have been arranged in a simple yet complex way at the same time. The main colors of the design are Cool Gray, Iris Purple, and Lavender Purple, which combine to achieve a harmonious and balanced effect. In addition, this fabric could be combined with plain colors such as white, black, gray or soft purple to obtain interesting results.
The fabric is printed with the design stamped on one side using the sublimation technique, which means that the pattern is not present on both sides of the fabric but only on one of them. The fabric is soft to the touch and smooth, but also textured, which gives it great versatility for its application in sportswear, swimwear and shorts. On the other hand, the design, although simple in appearance, achieves the complexity we mentioned earlier thanks to the arrangement of the brushstrokes and circles. The tones chosen for the stamping are soft and fresh, which makes it ideal for summer or mid-season garments.
In addition to its sustainable composition and lightness, other features of the fabric include a soft feel on contact with the skin, which makes it comfortable to wear during long hours of physical exercise or water activities. The fabric is resistant to washing and use, and can be used to make a wide range of sportswear, swimwear, shorts, bermudas, shirts, among others. Its wide usefulness and versatility allow it to be timeless and suitable for use in any season of the year.
The fabric should be washed at a maximum temperature of 40ºC and not bleached. In addition, it is recommended to iron at low temperature and not use a dryer, to prevent it from deteriorating over time. The fabric is easily washable and does not require special care or restrictions in its cleaning.
Finally, the printing technology used to manufacture this fabric is sublimation, an advanced digital textile printing technique based on the transfer of ink from a support by means of heat and pressure. This technique allows complex and detailed designs to be printed on synthetic surfaces such as polyester and offers precise and durable results.
