Se trata de un tejido con relieve y al ser impreso presenta fuerza de color en las fibras más externas quedando en su color natural las fibras internas. Puede presentar pequeñas trazas, hilos o borra dada su naturaleza reciclada y cuya aparición, aunque se de en un % bajo de ocasiones, es totalmente arbitraria e inevitable. |
The Tweed - Chanel fabric is a rigid polyester fabric with a weight of 420 gr/m2, 150 cm wide, with applications in both fashion and home textiles. This fabric has been printed with a standard complexity pea photograph design, in a main multicolored color range. The chromatic combination of plain colors suitable to accompany this fabric are navy blue, mustard, and dark green.
The most relevant characteristic of this fabric is its rigid texture, which gives a certain resistance and solidity in the making of garments or accessories. The printed design, for its part, adds a fresh and vibrant touch thanks to its gastronomic theme and its multicolored colors, which are perceived as vivid and vibrant to the touch.
The most common applications and uses of Tweed - Chanel fabric are in the making of outerwear such as jackets, blazers, coats, and trenches, as well as in the elaboration of skirts, dresses, jackets, and vests for men and women. It is also used as a fabric for cushions in living room, bedroom, and kitchen decoration, being suitable for indoors and outdoors.
For proper maintenance of the fabric, it is recommended not to bleach it, wash it at a maximum temperature of 30ºC, iron at a cool temperature, and do not tumble dry. It accepts dry cleaning except with trichloroethylene.
The printing technology used to manufacture this fabric is polyester sublimation, which consists of printing the design using sublimable ink on special paper and then transferring it to the fabric using temperature and pressure. This process guarantees high resolution and sharpness of the printed design on the fabric, with a high-quality finish. It should be noted that this fabric is printed on one side by digital textile printing, so it is important to take into account the direction of the design when cutting and making garments or accessories with this fabric.
