The fabric in question is the Cotton-Feel Jersey Knit - Atenas, a knit fabric composed of 81% polyester, 15% acrylic, and 4% elastane. With a weight of 239 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm, this fabric is soft to the touch and elastic, making it ideal for clothing items such as jumpers, tops, dresses, cardigans, pajamas, and knitwear in general.
The printed design of this fabric is in a home decor style, with a basket and wicker theme, and features vivid and vibrant, multicoloured hues. This design can be combined with solid colors such as white, black, or earthy tones to achieve an elegant and balanced look. It is important to mention that the fabric is printed with the design on one side only using digital textile printing, which means that there is only design on one side of the fabric.
Regarding the general characteristics of the fabric, its texture and feel are soft and elastic, making it comfortable to wear and easy to work with. On the other hand, the printed design is vibrant and eye-catching, making it perfect for home decor or fashion projects seeking a touch of style and originality.
Regarding the applications and uses of the fabric, in addition to those mentioned above, it is also suitable for making blankets for living rooms and bedrooms, socks, scarves, shawls, and childrens knitwear. This fabric is ideal for the winter and autumn/winter 2021 seasons.
As for the care instructions for this fabric, it is recommended not to bleach it and to wash it at a maximum of 30ºC. Dry cleaning is possible, except with trichloroethylene, iron at a cool temperature, and it cannot be tumble dried.
Finally, the printing technology used in the manufacture of this fabric is sublimation (polyester), a process that enables a crisp and detailed reproduction of the design on the fabric. In sublimation, colors are transferred from paper to fabric using heat and pressure to achieve high-resolution print quality.
