The Brushed Sweatshirt Fabric - Boston is a sweatshirt-type fabric with a 100% polyester composition and a weight of 220 gr/m2. Its printed design is complex, featuring shapes of circles, jewels, stones, accessories, and shimmering textures in multicolor shades. This design offers a combination of lights and shadows that simulate self-illumination, giving the impression that the shapes are in a naturally lit environment. To complement this design, solid colors in shades of gray, dark blue, or black could be used.
The fabric is printed with the patterned design on one side using digital textile printing, which gives it high quality and definition. Additionally, it has a brushed finish that provides a soft and pleasant feel for use in clothing. The design enriches the fabric with its complexity, making it ideal for sports apparel such as sweatshirts or tracksuits, but it can also be used for accessories like backpacks or toiletry bags.
Among the fabrics characteristics, its GRS certification as a sustainable fabric and its sublimation printing technology on polyester stand out. Moreover, it offers great resistance to washing and prolonged use, making it perfect for use in clothing.
Regarding care, this fabric should not be bleached or ironed, and should be washed at a maximum temperature of 40ºC. It is compatible with dry cleaning, except with trichloroethylene, and can be tumble dried at a reduced temperature.
The sublimation printing technology used to manufacture this fabric consists of applying heat and pressure to the ink pigments, solidifying them into the fabrics polymer. This way, the design colors are fixed within the fabric instead of being on the surface, providing greater quality and durability of the print.
