The base fabric is an Organic Cotton Poplin called Verona, with a weight of 110 g/m2 and a width of 150 cm. Its composition is 100% organic cotton, which makes it sustainable, and it also has GOTS - ORGANIC CU1016503 certification. This fabric has two characteristics in texture and feel, being soft and stiff. On the other hand, the printed design has a standard complexity, photographic style, and is inspired by gastronomy, specifically pistachios and their shells, which makes it an original and unconventional design. The main colors of the design are multicolored, allowing it to be combined with plain fabrics in shades of beige, camel, khaki, military green, and light brown.
The fabric is printed with the design on one side using digital textile printing, which means it is not a double-sided printed fabric, but printed on one side creating a vivid and defined image. The fabric is versatile and can be used for different applications, such as womens and mens fashion, in garments such as shirts, dresses, blouses, and even childrens fashion. It is ideal for creating summer garments due to its light weight.
Regarding fabric care, it is important to note that it should not be bleached and should be washed at a maximum temperature of 30ºC. Dry cleaning is allowed except with trichloroethylene, and it should be ironed at a cool temperature. In addition, it can be tumble dried at a reduced temperature, which gives the fabric good durability.
The fabric printing technology is direct reactive digital, known for being an environmentally friendly technology, where the inks chemically adhere to the organic cotton fibers. This ensures that the color and quality of the design remain intense and vibrant over time.
