The fabric we will discuss is the Cotton-Feel Jersey Knit - Athens, a knitted fabric composed of 81% polyester, 15% acrylic, and 4% elastane. Its weight is 239 gr/m2 and its width is 150 cm. This fabric is ideal for making various fashion garments for both men and women, such as jerseys, tops, dresses, and cardigans, as well as for lingerie and pajamas. It can also be used in home textile products, such as blankets, napkins, and other accessories.
The printed design of this fabric is of standard complexity and has a decorative and photographic style with the representation of wicker baskets. The main colors are multi-color, allowing for a wide variety of combinations with other plain colors. It is important to note that the fabric is printed with the design on one side using digital textile printing.
This fabric has a soft and elastic texture, which makes it very pleasant to the touch. In addition, its sublimation printing technology ensures that the design is sharp and of high quality.
Given its composition, this fabric is ideal for garments that require elasticity for body fit, as well as for those garments that need easy care and greater durability. The aforementioned uses, such as fashion, lingerie, knitwear, and home textile products, are just some of the applications for which this fabric can be used.
For its care, it is recommended to wash at a maximum temperature of 30ºC and not to use bleach. It can be ironed at a cool temperature and dry cleaning is allowed, although not with trichloroethylene. The fabric cannot be tumble dried.
The printing technology used for the manufacture of this fabric is sublimation, which consists of the use of special inks that turn into gas when heated and then impregnate the fibers of the fabric, ensuring that the design lasts over time and does not come off with use and washing.
