Recycled Lycra - Recycled 190 gr/m2

The Recycled Lycra Fabric – Recycled is a blend of polyester and elastane with a composition of 85% and 15% respectively, with a weight of 190 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm. This fabric is designed for use in swimwear and fashion within a timeless season and has GRS certification, which endorses its commitment to the environment. The printed design is an abstract watercolor, with standard complexity in a drawn style where dye and stain techniques are used in multicolors.

This fabric is printed with the stamped design on one side by digital textile printing, it is important to note that it is not a double-sided printed fabric but printed on one side, which makes it ideal for making garments with specific designs. The fabric has a soft and elastic texture that adapts perfectly to the figure, in addition to having a chlorine-resistant finish and very high UV protection 50+.

Regarding the applications and uses of the fabric, apart from those mentioned in the introduction, it is important to highlight the versatility it offers to create unique pieces with the stamped design. From swimsuits and bikinis to scrunchies and hair ties, the possibilities are endless. To combine with the multicolor design of the print, colors such as blue, white, black, and green can be used.

Regarding the care of the fabric, it is important not to bleach it and treat it at a maximum temperature of 40ºC, in addition to avoiding dry cleaning and tumble drying. Ironing should be done at a cool temperature.

Finally, the printing technology with which this fabric is manufactured is sublimation, which consists of the transfer of ink that is printed on special paper to then be transferred to the fabric through heat and pressure. This allows greater precision in the reproduction of designs, as well as greater durability of the print on the fabric.
