Se trata de un tejido con relieve y al ser impreso presenta fuerza de color en las fibras más externas quedando en su color natural las fibras internas. Puede presentar pequeñas trazas, hilos o borra dada su naturaleza reciclada y cuya aparición, aunque se de en un % bajo de ocasiones, es totalmente arbitraria e inevitable. |
Tweed - Chanel fabric is a polyester fabric with a density of 420 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm. Its ABSTRACT watercolor print, of Standard complexity, drawn with dye and stain details, gives it a sophisticated and modern look, combining a multitude of striking colors with softer tones. In addition, thanks to its sublimation printing, the design is printed on one side, resulting in a high-quality and resistant fabric.
As for the general characteristics of the fabric, we highlight its rigid texture, which makes it ideal for making fashion garments such as jackets, blazers, coats, dresses, skirts or bomber jackets. It can also be used in the home, for making cushions for living rooms, bedrooms and kitchens, as well as for outdoor decoration. Likewise, its use in accessories such as bow ties or caps, or in sports garments such as vests, make it a very versatile fabric.
Regarding the care that should be taken into account for this fabric, it is recommended not to bleach, not to use temperatures above 30ºC, it can be dry cleaned except with trichloroethylene, iron at a cool temperature and do not tumble dry.
Sublimation printing technology consists of printing the design on transfer paper using special inks, and then transferring it to the fabric using a high-temperature oven, which causes the ink to turn into gas and impregnate the fibers of the fabric, allowing for a sharp, durable and soft-to-the-touch result.
