Raso-Ámsterdam fabric is a polyester satin with a shiny and smooth texture in both touch and visual appearance. Its remarkable delicacy is enhanced by its weight of 120 gr/m2 and width of 150 cm. Additionally, it stands out for its multiple applications, including fashion (shirts, blouses, jumpsuits, pants, tops), lingerie (pajamas, dresses, bridal wear), and accessories (scarves), for both women and men. It can even be used for making kimonos.
The printed design of the Raso-Ámsterdam fabric is a folkloric and floral combination characterized by highlighting nature and plants, especially flowers and rose petals. It features a mix of colors dominated by bright multicolored tones that add a touch of joy and light to the design. Additionally, this design could perfectly combine with other plain colors such as yellow, pink, or light green to create different combinations and styles.
It is important to mention that the fabric is printed on one side only using digital textile printing, which enhances its design and avoids confusion when using the fabric for garment making. Regarding its general characteristics, the fabric stands out for being thin, making it ideal for spring and summer months. Furthermore, the designs print gives it a touch of shine and luminosity that differentiates it from other fabrics.
In terms of care, Raso-Ámsterdam fabric is delicate and requires certain attention to avoid compromising its quality. It is important not to bleach the fabric and avoid washing it at temperatures higher than 40ºC. This fabric allows dry cleaning; however, the use of trichloroethylene is not recommended. On the other hand, it can be ironed at a warm temperature and tumble-dried at a reduced temperature to ensure its durability and resistance.
The printing technology used in the manufacturing of Raso-Ámsterdam fabric is sublimation. This technical process involves applying heat and pressure at high temperatures to integrate the design pigments into the fabric, ensuring a durable print resistant to the fabrics use and washing.
