Se trata de un tejido con relieve y al ser impreso presenta fuerza de color en las fibras más externas quedando en su color natural las fibras internas. Puede presentar pequeñas trazas, hilos o borra dada su naturaleza reciclada y cuya aparición, aunque se de en un % bajo de ocasiones, es totalmente arbitraria e inevitable. |
Tweed - Chanel fabric is a 420 gr/m2 polyester fabric with a width of 150 cm. This fabric has a rigid texture and is printed with an exotic and folkloric patterned design, with abstract brushstrokes and nature flowers. The main colors of the design are multi-color, giving a cheerful and vibrant touch. This fabric could be combined with solid colors such as red, green, yellow, black or white.
It is important to note that the fabric is printed with the patterned design on one side by digital textile printing, which means that it is not a double-sided printed fabric but printed on one side only.
In terms of general characteristics, this fabric has a rigid texture, which makes it ideal for making jackets, blazers, coats, skirts, dresses, bomber jackets, vests, shorts, bermudas and accessories such as bow ties and caps. It is also suitable for use in home textiles such as living room, bedroom, kitchen cushions and for outdoor decoration.
It is essential to take into account the previously selected care instructions, such as not bleaching, washing at a maximum temperature of 30ºC, ironing cold, and it cannot be tumble dried. For greater durability of the fabric and design, dry cleaning is recommended except for trichloroethylene.
Finally, the printing technology used in this fabric is sublimation, which means that the polyester of the fabric is printed through a chemical process by which the ink turns into gas and penetrates the fibers of the fabric, creating a resistant, durable and high-quality print.
