Raso Ámsterdam fabric is a satin/raso weave with a 100% polyester composition and a weight of 120 gr/m2. Its width of 150 cm makes it suitable for a variety of applications, from fashion to lingerie. The printed design features multicolored hues and is composed of engine, corrosion, and rust motifs, giving it a unique and very avant-garde aesthetic. The fabric is digitally printed with the design on one side.
In terms of its characteristics, the texture and visual sheen contrast with a smooth and thin feel, making it a soft and easy-to-handle fabric. The main colors of the pattern stand out on a bright white polyester base. This fabric could be combined with plain fabrics in gray or black tones to create an even greater contrast effect.
The applications and uses of Raso Ámsterdam fabric are diverse, ranging from blouses and shirts to kimonos and pajamas. Its softness and visual sheen make it ideal for more elegant and sophisticated garments, while its polyester composition makes it a durable and resistant option for everyday wear.
Regarding its care, it is important to follow the manufacturers instructions. It is recommended to wash at a temperature no higher than 40ºC and iron at a warm temperature. This fabric allows dry cleaning, but not with trichloroethylene, and can be tumble dried at a reduced temperature.
The printing technology used in this fabric is polyester sublimation, which converts the design into ink and transfers it to the fabric using heat and pressure. This achieves greater durability and higher design resolution than with other printing methods.
