The base fabric in question is Recycled Crepe Chine, a crepe fabric made entirely of polyester with a weight of 82 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm. This fabric has a thin and soft texture to the touch, visually translucent, and granular in texture. Regarding the printed color, it is a "locura" red with a CMYK of 0, 98, 72, 0, which means it has a high intensity of magenta and yellow, but no presence of cyan ink. This secondary color is characterized by evoking strong and passionate emotions, such as love or anger, and combines particularly well with neutral colors such as black or white, or complementary tones such as olive green or burgundy.
It should be noted that the fabric is printed with the solid color on one side only, using digital textile printing. Therefore, it is a printed fabric and not dyed, which means that the color pigments adhere only to the surface of the fabric. In terms of applications and uses, this fabric is ideal for womens fashion, both in dresses, skirts, or blouses, but can also be used in mens fashion, in shirts or scarves. Additionally, it can be used in lingerie, such as wedding dresses, or in accessories like scarves.
It is important to consider that this fabric requires certain special care to maintain its quality and appearance. It is recommended not to bleach it and to wash it at a maximum temperature of 30ºC, as well as to avoid using a dryer. As for ironing, a high temperature should not be used, and it can be dry cleaned except with trichloroethylene.
Finally, digital textile printing technology allows us to obtain personalized and detailed designs on the fabric through the sublimation of colors onto the polyester fabric. This process involves the transfer of color pigments from paper to fabric using heat and pressure, which guarantees high color durability and great definition in details.
