The base fabric is Recycled Crepe Chine - Eros, made of 100% POLYESTER with a weight of 82 gr/m2. The plain printed color is a shade of gray called stormcloud, with a CMYK of 68 43 44 30. This color is a dark tone, with a subtle touch of blue, that evokes a sense of elegance and sophistication. It combines well with neutral colors and pastel tones, as well as with more intense tones like red or yellow.
It is important to note that the fabric is printed with the plain color on one side only using digital textile printing, which means that the ink adheres only to one side of the fabric. The general characteristics of the base fabric include a thin and soft texture to the touch, with a translucent and grainy appearance. These characteristics make it suitable for tailoring womens and mens fashion garments, such as dresses, skirts, blouses, and shirts. It is also appropriate for lingerie and accessories like scarves.
Regarding the care instructions for this fabric, it is recommended not to bleach it, wash it at a maximum temperature of 30ºC, and do not use a tumble dryer. It can be dry cleaned, except with trichloroethylene, and ironed at a cool temperature.
Finally, the base fabric is printed using sublimation technology (POLYESTER). This technique consists of applying heat and pressure to the ink so that it adheres to the desired surface, in this case the base fabric. It is a fast and efficient technique for textile printing and allows for a wide range of colors and designs.
