The base fabric Recycled Crepe Chine - Eros has a weight of 82 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm. Its composition is 100% Polyester and it is GRS certified, ensuring that it is a sustainable and recycled fabric. The plain color printed on this fabric is Dark Red, with a CMYK of 27 100 100 34, which indicates the presence of high amounts of Magenta and Yellow. This color conveys elegance and sophistication. Red is a warm color that can be combined with different shades of yellow or orange, while Magenta and Yellow are usually combined with warm and bright tones such as pink or gold.
It should be noted that the fabric is printed with the plain color on one side by digital textile printing, which means that the color is only present on one side of the fabric. This printing technique allows the colors to be sharp and bright, but it is important to note that excessive heat during ironing can damage the color.
The characteristics of the base fabric are several and stand out for its thin and soft texture, as well as being translucent and grainy to the touch. These qualities make it ideal for fashion garments such as dresses, skirts, blouses and accessories such as scarves. It is also used in lingerie and wedding dresses thanks to its delicacy and softness, as well as in mens and womens shirts.
Regarding the care of the fabric, it is important to avoid bleaching and not to subject it to temperatures above 30 degrees Celsius during washing. Dry cleaning can be practiced, avoiding the use of trichloroethylene. Ironing should be done at a low temperature and tumble drying is not recommended.
Finally, it should be noted that the printing technology used for the base fabric is sublimation, which is carried out by applying heat and pressure in a special printer, which allows the colors to be transferred to the fabric using transfer paper. This process allows the ink to be completely fixed in the fabric, providing greater durability and resistance to washing and sunlight.
