The Crepe Knit Fabric - Riga is a crepe fabric composed of 94% polyester and 6% elastane, weighing 180 gr/m2 and 150 cm wide. It should be cared for at a maximum temperature of 40ºC, without bleach, and ironed at a cool temperature. This fabric has multiple applications in fashion, such as dresses, jumpsuits, t-shirts, tops, skirts, trousers, cardigans, and knitwear, and is also timeless. Its plain color, printed in toasted brown, expressed by a CMYK of 39 59 62 50, stands out for its granular texture and elasticity. It is important to note that the fabric is printed with the plain color on one side only using digital textile printing, which means it is a printed fabric, not a dyed fabric.
Regarding general characteristics, the fabric has an elastic texture and feel, due to the presence of elastane in its composition, which provides great comfort when worn. As for the color, toasted brown is a warm and inviting color that pairs very well with other earthy tones and dark greens.
Since the fabric is suitable for various garments, its applications are broad and varied, as we have indicated above. However, it is important to note that due to its composition, it is recommended not to use bleach and to wash at a maximum temperature of 40ºC to maximize its durability. We could also highlight that this fabric allows for dry cleaning except with trichloroethylene.
Finally, the printing technology used to manufacture this fabric is sublimation, which consists of passing the pigment from a solid state to a gaseous state, allowing it to penetrate the fibers of the fabric and creating a permanent image on the surface of the fabric. This guarantees high print quality, resistant color, and great durability.
