The base fabric is the Elastic Knit Crepe - Riga, composed of 94% polyester and 6% elastane, with a weight of 180 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm. The solid printed color is a mulberry purple, represented by a combination of cyan, magenta, and yellow inks with a proportion of 23%, 82%, and 10%, respectively. This color is complemented by colors such as gray, black, and white.
The Elastic Knit Crepe - Riga fabric is textured and elastic to the touch with a granulated surface that makes it very unique. The mulberry purple color stands out for its dark and elegant tone, perfect for both womens and mens garments. It is important to note that the fabric is printed with the solid color on one side only by digital textile printing, which means that the other side will have a natural white from the base fabric.
Among the general characteristics of the fabric, its softness and flexibility stand out, making it an optimal choice for garments that require comfort such as dresses, jumpsuits, t-shirts, skirts, and pants, but also for knitwear such as cardigans and tops. In addition, the fabric is timeless, which means it can be used in any season of the year.
It is important to consider the care of the fabric as no bleaches should be used, the washing temperature should not exceed 40ºC, dry cleaning is possible without using trichloroethylene, and ironing should be done at a cool temperature. In addition, it can be tumble dried at a reduced temperature.
The printing technology used to manufacture this fabric is sublimation (polyester), which consists of transferring inks onto transfer paper to then be transferred to the fabric through the application of heat and pressure in the thermal press. This method allows for high image definition and high wash resistance, making the printed color last much longer than with other printing methods.
