The base fabric, Elastic Knit Crepe - Riga, is a crepe fabric composed of 94% polyester and 6% elastane, with a weight of 180 gr/m2 and a width of 150cm. The plain color printed on this fabric is Purple and Dark Violet, with a CMYK ink combination of 70 Cyan and 85 Magenta. The secondary color, Dark Violet, is a color that symbolizes introspection and wisdom. Technically speaking, Dark Violet is a strong and complex color composed of various shades of gray and purple, which provides depth and richness. This color combines especially well with silver and gold tones, as well as with lighter and brighter tones such as pink, fuchsia, and yellow.
It is important to note that this fabric is printed with the plain color on one side using digital textile printing technology, which means that it is not a dyed fabric but printed on one side. Thanks to this, the base fabric has general characteristics of texture, feel, and elasticity that give it great quality and versatility for use in different fashion garments for both women and men.
Among the applications and uses of the base fabric are dresses, jumpsuits, t-shirts, tops, skirts, pants, cardigans, and knitwear. Thanks to its elasticity and soft feel, it is especially suitable for comfortable and elegant garments at the same time. In addition, elastic knit crepe is a good absorbent, making it ideal for summer clothing.
For its care, we must follow some recommendations such as not bleaching it, washing it at a maximum temperature of 40 degrees Celsius, it admits dry cleaning except trichloroethylene, ironing at a cool temperature and it can be tumble dried at a reduced temperature. In this way, we guarantee the durability and preservation of the base fabric and the plain color printed on it.
Regarding printing technology, sublimation is a process in which special inks are used to print on special paper. Then, this paper is placed on the fabric and subjected to high temperatures to make the inks evaporate and impregnate the fabric, which produces a high-quality and durable image. Digital textile printing is a modern and advanced technique that allows for fast and high-quality reproduction of complex and elaborate designs on synthetic fabrics.
