The base fabric is the Elastic Knit Crepe - Riga, with a composition of 94% polyester and 6% elastane, a weight of 180 gr/m2, a width of 150 cm, and available in white or ivory. The plain printed color has a content of 1 cyan ink, 0 magenta ink, 8 yellow ink, and 0 black ink with a CMYK of 1 0 8 0. This secondary color is a pale yellow tone, which evokes feelings of warmth, luminosity, and joy. It combines particularly well with brown and gray tones to create a natural and cozy look.
It is worth noting that digital textile printing is done on one side, which means that a special printing technology is used to obtain high visual quality without affecting the texture or elasticity of the base fabric. Regarding general characteristics, the fabric is characterized by its grainy texture and an elastic and soft feel. In addition, it stands out for its versatility, being suitable for making various garments such as dresses, jumpsuits, t-shirts, tops, skirts, pants, cardigans, or knitwear.
Regarding care, it is important not to bleach the fabric and maintain a maximum washing temperature of 40ºC. The fabric can be dry cleaned except with trichloroethylene, and ironing should be done at a cool temperature. It can also be tumble dried at a reduced temperature.
The printing technique used to manufacture this fabric is sublimation with polyester. In this process, a specially prepared sublimation paper is used, on which the desired image is printed using special inks. Then, the fabric is placed in a heat press along with the printed paper, and heat and pressure are applied so that the ink transfers from the paper to the fabric. This is a quick and effective process to obtain high print quality and durable colors on the fabric.
