The base fabric in question is the Elastic Knit Crepe - Riga, with a composition of 94% Polyester and 6% Elastane and a weight of 180 gr/m2. The solid color printed on the fabric is an intense and vibrant red, close to NCS Red, which is obtained through digital textile printing using CMYK inks: 15 100 74 6. This secondary color offers great contrast with neutral tones, such as white and black, and combines very well with earthy tones, such as beige or brown, as well as with analogous colors, such as orange and pink.
It is important to note that the solid color is printed on only one side of the fabric, and that it is not a dyed fabric but a printed one. The fabric has an elastic texture and a grainy surface, which provides a feeling of quality and resistance. Also, its width of 150 cm makes it an ideal fabric for making a wide variety of garments, for both women and men, from dresses to t-shirts to skirts or pants.
In terms of care, it is important not to bleach the fabric and wash it at a maximum temperature of 40ºC. It is also recommended to use dry cleaning, except with trichloroethylene, and to iron the fabric at a cool temperature. On the other hand, it can be tumble dried at a reduced temperature.
Regarding the printing technology used, it is sublimation for polyester. This technique allows the transfer of ink in a gaseous state to the fabric fiber, which produces a high-quality and resistant print. In this way, a vivid and durable color is obtained that does not fade over time.
