The base fabric of this textile is called Crepe de Punto Elástico - Riga, composed of 94% polyester and 6% elastane, with a weight of 180 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm. The solid color printed is Midnight Blue, whose CMYK is composed of 100% Cyan ink, 95% Magenta ink, 29% Yellow ink, and 14% Black ink. This color adds depth and elegance to the fabric, and combines perfectly with shades in different ranges of blues, grays, and silvers.
It is worth noting that this fabric is printed with the solid color on one side by digital textile printing, which implies that it is a superficial print that does not penetrate the fabric fibers. Regarding its general characteristics, the Crepe de Punto Elástico - Riga has a soft and granular feel, as well as great elasticity, which makes it easy to work with for fitted garments. As for the printed color, its high concentration of pigments ensures long durability and resistance to temperature changes and washes.
Among the applications and uses of this fabric are dresses, jumpsuits, t-shirts, tops, skirts, pants, knitwear, and cardigans. Its elasticity and adaptability make it ideal for body-hugging garments, while its granular texture adds a touch of elegance and sophistication.
It is important to note that this fabric requires certain care for its proper conservation, such as washing at a maximum temperature of 40ºC, ironing at low temperature, avoiding bleaching and dry cleaning with trichloroethylene. It is also recommended to tumble dry at a reduced temperature.
Finally, the printing technology used for the Crepe de Punto Elástico - Riga is sublimation (polyester), which consists of applying ink through a thermal transfer process. This technology guarantees maximum fidelity in color reproduction and allows for printing complex designs on synthetic fabrics, as is the case with this fabric.
