The base fabric of this textile is the Crepe de Punto Elástico - Riga, a crepe fabric with a composition of 94% polyester and 6% elastane. It has a weight of 180 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm. The solid color printed is a Dark Slate Blue, with a CMYK of 87 84 6 1. This color is characterized by being deep and dark, with a main shade of blue mixed with grayish slate hues. It combines perfectly with light colors like white, as well as earth tones and grays to create elegant and sophisticated combinations. It is worth noting that the fabric is printed with the solid color on one side by digital textile printing.
The general characteristics of the base fabric are its texture, feel, and elasticity. Due to its crepe weave, it has a granulated surface that gives it a unique and pleasant texture to the touch. In addition, its elasticity makes it perfect for garments that fit close to the body. As for the solid color, it is resistant to fading and color loss, which makes it perfect for frequently worn garments.
Among the applications and uses that stand out for this type of fabric are mens and womens fashion, such as dresses, skirts, pants, jumpsuits, t-shirts, tops, cardigans, and knitwear. This fabric is ideal for party wear and special occasions, as well as for everyday wear due to its durability and resistance.
Regarding the care that this fabric should have, bleaching and washing at temperatures above 40ºC should be avoided. Dry cleaning is allowed except for trichloroethylene, ironing at a cool temperature, and it can be tumble dried at a reduced temperature to avoid shrinkage.
The printing technology used to manufacture this fabric is sublimation (polyester). This technique consists of transferring ink through heat and pressure, converting it into gas and penetrating the fabric fibers, which ensures a durable and resistant print.
