The base fabric is Pleated Crepe Georgette - Bangkok, composed of 100% polyester, with a weight of 90 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm. It is printed with a solid deep pink color, with an ink combination that includes 16% cyan, 43% magenta, 12% yellow, and 0% black, representing a CMYK of 16 43 12 0.
The secondary deep pink color is symbolic and represents passion and romanticism. Technically, it is an intense pink shade, close to fuchsia, that combines well with earth tones, beige, browns, and golds. The solid color is printed on one side using digital textile printing.
The general characteristics of the base fabric include a pleated finish and a translucent visual texture, making it ideal for lingerie, dresses, blouses, skirts, and accessories such as scarves and handkerchiefs. Its use in sportswear like sarongs and for bridal fashion is also common.
It is important to consider the care instructions for this type of fabric, which include not bleaching, a maximum washing temperature of 30ºC, dry cleaning allowed except for trichloroethylene, cold ironing, and it cannot be tumble dried.
The printing technology used to manufacture this fabric is sublimation (polyester), a technique where the design is first printed on a sheet of paper and then permanently transferred onto the fabric using heat and pressure. This allows the design to resemble a painting, ensuring high-quality reproduction and color fidelity.
