The base fabric of Pleated Crepe Georgette – Bangkok features a translucent visual texture and a pleated finish. It is made of 100% polyester and has a weight of 90 gr/m2, with a width of 150 cm. The printed color is a vibrant pink known as Rosso Corsa with a CMYK of 12 100 100 4, indicating high levels of magenta, yellow, and cyan, and a low level of black. It is an intense and striking color that can be particularly combined with neutral tones such as white, gray, and beige, creating a great contrast with each of them.
It is important to note that the fabric is printed with the plain color on one side only using digital textile printing; it is not a dyed fabric, but rather printed on one side. The general characteristics of the fabric are its softness and lightness, making it a subtle and delicate fabric to the touch. In addition, it is a highly breathable fabric, ideal for the summer season and for making lingerie, dresses, skirts, scarves, among other fashion accessories for both women and men.
Among the applications and uses of the base fabric are the making of lingerie, for both novels and wedding nights, evening and day dresses, sportswear such as swimsuits and sarongs, as well as accessories such as shawls and scarves. These are just a few examples, as the versatility of the fabric allows its use in countless projects.
It is important to note that the fabric should be washed at a maximum of 30ºC, not bleached, cannot be tumble dried, and it is recommended to iron at a cool temperature. In addition, dry cleaning is allowed, except for trichloroethylene, to prolong the lifespan of the fabric.
Finally, the printing technology used in this case is sublimation (polyester), a process where the fabric is printed through the transfer of ink by heat and pressure, which allows the printed color to penetrate deeply into the fibers of the fabric, ensuring excellent quality, sharpness, and durability of the print.
