The base fabric is Pleated Crepe Georgette - Bangkok, made of 100% polyester with a weight of 90 gr/m2. Its width is 150 cm, and its printed color is tea yellow, which has CMYK values 0 12 56 0. This color is a blend of pastel yellow and green hues, giving it a fresh and natural look. It pairs particularly well with neutral tones such as white and gray, as well as with brown and beige tones.
It is important to mention that this fabric is printed with a solid color on one side using digital textile printing, which means the color is applied to the surface of the fabric and does not penetrate its fibers. This gives the color greater intensity and vibrancy, but it also means that the print is delicate and can deteriorate over time and with use.
The general characteristics of the base fabric include a pleated finish that adds texture and volume, as well as a visual translucency that makes it ideal for light and fluid garments. These characteristics give it versatility, making it suitable for both bed and bath linen (such as sarongs), as well as for general fashion apparel like dresses, blouses, skirts, scarves, and foulards.
Regarding the care instructions for this fabric, it is recommended to wash it at a maximum temperature of 30ºC, avoid high-temperature ironing or tumble drying, and prevent chlorination. Although dry cleaning is allowed, it is recommended to use cleaning solvents that do not contain trichloroethylene.
Finally, the printing technology used in the manufacturing of this fabric is polyester sublimation, which involves applying special dyes onto transfer paper before transferring them to the fabric using heat and pressure. This allows for high-definition details and faithful color reproduction, making it possible to create complex and detailed designs.
