The base fabric for this description is Pleated Crepe Georgette - Bangkok, made of 100% polyester with a weight of 90 gr/m2. Its width of 150 cm makes it a wide and versatile fabric. The plain color printed is an intense red with a CMYK of 0 89 89 0, which indicates a high amount of magenta and yellow in the ink mixture. This secondary color is highly symbolic, representing passion, love, energy, and intensity. It pairs very well with other warm and bright colors such as gold, orange, and yellow, but can also be contrasted by darker colors like brown or gray.
It should be noted that this fabric is printed with the plain color on one side only using digital textile printing, which means it is a printed fabric, not dyed. Digital textile printing offers the ability to print very complex and varied designs on the fabric, allowing for customization and exclusivity in products.
Among the characteristics of the base fabric, its pleated finish and translucent visual texture stand out, making it ideal for womens clothing and accessories. Applications and uses range from lingerie and wedding dresses to skirts and blouses. Due to its ability to adapt to the body, this type of fabric is also widely used in sportswear and swimwear. Accessories such as scarves and foulards can also be made with this fabric, thanks to its delicacy and lightness.
Regarding care, we recommend not bleaching the fabric, washing at a maximum temperature of 30ºC, dry cleaning (except trichloroethylene), ironing at a cool temperature, and not tumble drying. These are basic care instructions to ensure the long life of the fabric and maintain its properties.
Finally, the printing technology used to manufacture this fabric is sublimation, a process that allows digital transfer of inks directly onto the fabric. The ink is heated and transforms into gas at high temperatures, penetrating the fabric fibers and creating a resistant and vibrant print.
