The base fabric of the Transparent Gauze - Salamanca is a gauze type, with a composition of 100% polyester, which gives it a transparent visual texture and a thin feel, with a weight of 28 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm. As for the plain printed color, it is a Fire Engine Red, with a CMYK of 18 98 94 9, where the Magenta and Yellow inks stand out in intense tones. This color combines very well with neutral tones such as white and gray, as well as with dark tones such as black and dark blue. It is important to note that the fabric is printed with the plain color on one side by digital textile printing, which means that it is not a dyed fabric but printed on one side.
In general, the base fabric of the Transparent Gauze - Salamanca is a delicate and transparent fabric, ideal for making lingerie, bridal wear, dresses, skirts, sarongs, and scarves. In addition, it is widely used in childrens fashion to make dresses. It is a light and fresh fabric, perfect for the summer season.
It is important to take into account some care instructions for the maintenance of this fabric. It should not be bleached or tumble dried. The maximum recommended washing temperature is 30ºC and dry cleaning is allowed, except with trichloroethylene. Ironing should be done at low temperature.
The printing technique used in the manufacturing of this fabric is sublimation (polyester). This process consists of printing the design on transfer paper, and then transferring it to the fabric using heat and pressure. The ink turns into gas when subjected to high temperatures and penetrates the fibers of the fabric, providing a durable and highly detailed print. This method is ideal for polyester fabrics, as the ink adheres directly to the fibers of the fabric, which provides a high-quality and resistant print.
