The base fabric of the Transparent Gauze - Salamanca is a fine, transparent white polyester, with a weight of 28 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm. The plain printed color is a soft and warm Coconut Brown, obtained through a combination of 40% Cyan ink, 56% Magenta ink, 62% Yellow ink, and 51% Black ink, according to the indicated CMYK. This secondary color is a harmonious blend of brown and toasted tones, evoking the warmth and sophistication of nature. It combines particularly well with natural tones such as beige or light gray, as well as with brighter colors like aqua green or pastel pink.
The fabric is printed with the plain color on one side using digital textile printing, which means that the print is not a dye that penetrates the fiber, but an image printed on an external layer of the fabric. This technique allows for the reproduction of complex and detailed designs with great precision and sharpness, and is widely used in fashion and decoration.
The general characteristics of the base fabric include a fine and transparent texture, with a delicate and soft feel. Its transparency makes it ideal for crafting delicate garments such as lingerie or wedding dresses, as well as accessories like scarves or sarongs. It is also suitable for childrens clothing and for making skirts and fashion garments for both women and men. It is an ideal fabric for the summer season, thanks to its lightness and breathability.
Among the care instructions for this fabric are to avoid bleaching, do not wash at more than 30 degrees, and do not tumble dry. Additionally, it allows for dry cleaning except with trichloroethylene, and can be ironed at a low temperature.
The printing technology used for the Transparent Gauze - Salamanca is sublimation, which involves the transfer of ink from special printed paper to the fabric using heat and pressure, ensuring high image quality and wash resistance.
