The base fabric for this textile is Transparent Gauze - Salamanca, made entirely of polyester and with a weight of 28 gr/m2. The solid printed color is a warm brown with mahogany wood tones, as reflected by the CMYK of 44 68 65 67 in cyan, magenta, yellow, and black inks. This secondary color combines particularly well with cream, beige, and golden tones, conveying a certain warmth and elegance. It is important to note that this fabric is printed with the solid color on one side only using digital textile printing, which gives it a very sharp and detailed finish.
Regarding the general characteristics of the base fabric, we highlight its transparent visual texture and its delicate and soft feel, typical characteristics of gauze. The solid printed color, on the other hand, presents good color saturation, as well as great depth thanks to the sublimation technique. Among the applications and uses of this fabric, we find lingerie and wedding dresses, fashion skirts, swimwear and sports sarongs, scarves, and childrens dresses. The most common use is usually for light summer dresses, as it is a fresh and comfortable fabric.
Regarding care, it is important to wash the fabric at a maximum temperature of 30ºC and not to bleach it under any circumstances. It is recommended not to tumble dry and to iron at a cool temperature. This fabric allows dry cleaning except for trichloroethylene, always recommending to follow the specific instructions on the label.
Finally, the printing technology used to manufacture this fabric is sublimation, which consists of printing the image on transfer paper using special inks that, when subjected to high temperatures and pressures, turn into gas and fuse with the fabric surface. This allows for high quality and definition in printing, as well as great durability.
