The Transparent Gauze - Salamanca is a fine and translucent polyester fabric, with a weight of 28 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm. The plain color printed on this fabric is a beautiful lavender tone, obtained through the sublimation technique with a cyan ink composition of 11 and magenta of 9, which yields a CMYK of 11 9 0 0. This secondary color has a fresh and relaxing tone, evoking tranquility and serenity. It combines especially well with pastel tones such as pale pinks and aqua greens, creating a soft and harmonious composition.
It is important to note that this fabric is printed with the plain color on one side by digital textile printing, and that it is not a dyed fabric but printed on one side. The characteristics of the Transparent Gauze - Salamanca are its visual texture, which makes it unique and delicate, and its tactile texture, which is very soft and silky to the touch. This fabric is very versatile and adapts to a wide variety of applications, such as lingerie (mainly bridal), dresses, skirts, sarongs, scarves, and childrens clothing, and is ideal for summer garments due to its lightness and breathability.
Regarding the care required for the Transparent Gauze - Salamanca, it is advised not to bleach, wash at a maximum temperature of 30ºC, and it can be dry cleaned except with trichloroethylene. For ironing, it is recommended to do so at a low temperature and with great care. This fabric is not suitable for tumble drying, as it can damage its delicacy and affect the appearance of the printed plain color.
Finally, the printing technology used to manufacture this fabric is sublimation, which consists of transferring an image or design to a fabric previously coated with a polymer. This technique is used to print on polyester fabrics, and allows for a faithful and sharp reproduction of designs, with superior quality to screen printing and conventional digital printing. Sublimation is an innovative technique that provides great durability to the printed fabric, making it ideal for creative and high-quality projects.
