Esta referencia de tela está fabricada a partir de botellas de plástico reciclado PET e hilo de poliéster reciclado, por lo que puede presentar pequeñas trazas, hilos o borra dada su naturaleza reciclada y cuya aparición, aunque se de en un % bajo de ocasiones, es totalmente arbitraria e inevitable. También presenta unos indices de encogimiento relevantes que pueden oscilar entre un 4-9 % de encogimiento a lo largo del tejido y un 2% al ancho en función de la pieza. |
The Recycled PET Canvas - Dallas is a type of 100% polyester fabric, with a weight of 260 gr/m2 and a width of 160 cm. Its printed design includes maritime motifs, waves, and water in main colors such as black, steel blue, and blood brown. Plain colors that could combine with this design are white and blue tones. The fabric is printed with the stamped design on one side by digital textile printing. As for its general characteristics, the fabric has a rough and rigid texture, with a hard feel and an opaque appearance. As for the design, the combination of natural motifs and shapes creates a feeling of calm and freshness, inspired by the sea. Usual applications of this fabric include decoration with paintings and cushions, upholstery for sofas and chairs, and accessories such as bags and wallets.
As for the care that should be taken into account for this fabric, it is advisable not to bleach it and to wash it at a maximum temperature of 30ºC, using solvents for dry cleaning, ironing at a cold temperature, and drying it with the reduced temperature of a dryer. As for the printing technology used to manufacture this fabric, it is sublimation (polyester), which consists of applying the printed design with liquid inks on a transfer paper that adheres to the fabric by means of heat and pressure. This allows obtaining a high quality of definition in the design, as well as great durability and resistance to washing and wear.
