The base fabric of this textile is Transparent Chiffon - Salamanca, made from 100% polyester with a weight of 28 gr/m2. The fabric is a soft and delicate chiffon, with a width of 150 cm and a visual transparency that makes it perfect for light and airy garments. The plain color printed on this fabric is a pale green, with a CMYK of 53 17 63 2, which provides a sense of calm and freshness. This secondary color combines perfectly with colors such as white, beige, and pink, making it ideal for lingerie and bridal wear.
This fabric is printed with the plain color on one side only using digital textile printing. This means that the printed color does not penetrate the structure of the fabric, but adheres superficially to achieve clarity and vibrancy of color. The base fabric is transparent and lightweight, allowing the printed color to show through the fabric without losing its intensity.
The characteristics of the base fabric and the printed color are very interesting. The visual texture is transparent, making it a perfect fabric for airy garments, such as skirts or dresses. It is recommended to avoid bleaching and to wash at a maximum temperature of 30º C. Dry cleaning is also suggested, except with trichloroethylene, iron at a low temperature, and do not tumble dry.
Finally, the printing technology used for this fabric is sublimation. Sublimation is a process in which ink for printing and heat are used to transfer it from paper to the base fabric. The heat causes the ink to turn into gas and penetrate the structure of the fabric to achieve a more vivid and durable print.
