The Transparent Gauze - Salamanca is a delicate and lightweight fabric, made of 100% polyester with a weight of 28 grams per square meter and a width of 150 cm. The solid printed color is an Iris Blue hue, with a CMYK of 95 77 0 0. This color presents as a soft and elegant tone, ideal for clothing, bedding, or interior decoration.
Iris Blue is a secondary color obtained from the combination of Cyan and Magenta tones. Its symbolism is associated with serenity, calmness, and wisdom. Being a complex color, it can be combined with a wide variety of colors to achieve different effects. In particular, Iris Blue pairs perfectly with neutral tones, such as white or grey, and can also be an excellent option to combine with yellow or gold tones, adding a touch of sophistication and glamour.
It is important to note that the Transparent Gauze - Salamanca is printed with the solid color on one side using digital textile printing. This means that the fabric is not dyed, but rather printed directly onto the surface of the fabric. In terms of its general characteristics, the base fabric has a transparent visual texture and a thin tactile texture, making it ideal for light and elegant garments.
Among the applications and uses of this fabric are lingerie, wedding dresses, skirts, beach sarongs, scarves, or childrens clothing. Furthermore, it is a perfect fabric for the summer season, as its lightness and transparency allow for greater ventilation and freshness.
Regarding the care required for this fabric, it is recommended not to bleach it and to wash it at a maximum temperature of 30ºC. It is also important not to tumble dry and to iron it at a cool temperature. Dry cleaning is possible, except with trichloroethylene.
Finally, the Transparent Gauze - Salamanca is manufactured using sublimation technology, a process that involves printing an image onto special paper which is then transferred to the fabric using heat and pressure. This process allows for high-quality and sharp images, and is primarily used on polyester fabrics.
