Esta referencia de tela está fabricada a partir de botellas de plástico reciclado PET e hilo de poliéster reciclado, por lo que puede presentar pequeñas trazas, hilos o borra dada su naturaleza reciclada y cuya aparición, aunque se de en un % bajo de ocasiones, es totalmente arbitraria e inevitable. También presenta unos indices de encogimiento relevantes que pueden oscilar entre un 4-9 % de encogimiento a lo largo del tejido y un 2% al ancho en función de la pieza. |
The base fabric, Recycled PET Canvas - Dallas, is a canvas made of 100% polyester with a weight of 260 gr/m2 and a width of 160 cm. The solid printed color is a vibrant red called Devian, which is obtained by combining cyan, magenta, yellow, and black inks. The CMYK of the color is 17 87 38 6, indicating a predominance of magenta over the other colors. This color evokes feelings of passion and vigor, is ideal for interior and exterior decoration, and is a timeless seasonal shade. The secondary color balances well with white, black, and gray tones.
The fabric is printed with the solid color on one side using digital textile printing. This printing technique is a modern way of decorating and individualizing fabrics that allows for full-color designs.
The characteristics of the fabric include its opaque visual texture, rough, and stiff to the touch. The combination of these characteristics and the printing of the solid red Devian color results in a striking and high-contrast fabric, suitable for a wide range of applications and uses. The recycled acrylic base fabric allows for the manufacture of sustainable and eco-friendly products.
The fabric is used for decoration, creation of accessories, clothing, and home decoration, including pictures, cushions, baskets, chairs, frames, purses, toiletry bags, aprons, table runners, and placemats. Other applications can be in upholstery for sofas and armchairs. Its great durability and resistance make it ideal for outdoor use.
Regarding the necessary care for this fabric, it is recommended not to bleach, wash at a maximum temperature of 30ºC, allow dry cleaning with solvents, iron at a cool temperature, and tumble dry at a reduced temperature. If these care instructions are followed, the duration of the print can be prolonged.
The printing technique used on this fabric is sublimation, which is an ink transfer process in which the ink turns into vapor and fixes onto the polyester fibers. This printing process is ideal for fabrics with a high polyester blend, as the final result is a defined and durable image on the fabric. Furthermore, sublimation is an environmentally friendly printing technique as it is practically waste-free.
