Storm fabric is a fine, strong, water-repellent technical fabric made of 100% polyester, with a weight of 70 g/m2 and a width of 145 cm. Its printed design stands out for its aquatic and fantastic theme, with the presence of marine animals such as fish and dragons, and the natural elements of water and sky. The main colors are multicolored with a predominance of blues, greens, and yellows.
This fabric can be combined with plain fabrics in neutral tones such as white and black, as well as with more vibrant tones such as red or fuchsia to add a touch of energy. The fabric is printed with the stamped design on one side by digital textile printing, which allows for high image quality and detail in the design.
Storm fabric has general characteristics of impermeability and water repellency, and a thin and smooth texture to the touch. Its printed design has a wide variety of elements that can bring both a touch of nature and fantasy to any garment or accessory in which it is used.
Among the applications and uses of this fabric are the making of jackets and raincoats for sports use, shower curtains and other home products, as well as fashion garments for women or men. Its use can extend to other markets such as bags and accessories due to its resistant quality.
Regarding care, it is recommended to wash it at maximum temperatures of 40ºC without bleaching and iron at low temperature. It does not allow dry cleaning or tumble drying.
The printing technology used in the manufacture of Storm fabric is sublimation, which allows the design to be printed directly onto the polyester fiber permanently and with great image quality and detail. As it is a digital printing process, it is possible to print very complex and detailed designs, and the lack of chemical residues makes it a more ecological process.
