Esta referencia de tela está fabricada a partir de botellas de plástico reciclado PET e hilo de poliéster reciclado, por lo que puede presentar pequeñas trazas, hilos o borra dada su naturaleza reciclada y cuya aparición, aunque se de en un % bajo de ocasiones, es totalmente arbitraria e inevitable. También presenta unos indices de encogimiento relevantes que pueden oscilar entre un 4-9 % de encogimiento a lo largo del tejido y un 2% al ancho en función de la pieza. |
The Recycled PET Canvas - Dallas is a canvas-type fabric, composed of 100% polyester. Its grammage is 260 gr/m2 and its width is 160 cm. The solid color printed on this fabric is a combination of brown and ochre, which is reflected in the CMYK content: 24 94 100 21. This secondary color is predominant and has an earthy and warm symbolism with a reddish touch that makes it versatile and easily combinable with a wide variety of colors, such as green, orange or yellow tones, or even grays and whites. It is important to note that this fabric is digitally printed on one side only.
The general characteristics of the base fabric and the solid color are interesting. On the one hand, the texture is rough, rigid and opaque to the touch and sight. The presence of recycled elements in its composition makes it a sustainable fabric that does not harm the environment. On the other hand, the color is intense, resistant and durable, thanks to the sublimation applied in its production.
Among the applications and uses for this type of fabric, we highlight its use in decoration for stretchers, paintings, cushions; it can also be used in clothing and accessories, such as bags, toiletry bags, purses, hats and pants. In textiles/home, this fabric can be used to make table runners, cushions, baskets, stretchers, placemats and aprons. In addition, it is ideal for upholstering sofas, chairs and armchairs.
It is important to consider some care instructions for this fabric: do not bleach, maintain a maximum temperature of 30 ºC, solvents can be used for dry cleaning and cold ironing is advised. It is also important not to use tumble dryers at high temperatures.
The printing technology used for the elaboration of this fabric is polyester sublimation, which allows the transfer of ink from a solid state to a gaseous state to dye the fibers of the fabric. This process ensures color intensity, durability, resistance and sharpness.
