Esta referencia de tela está fabricada a partir de botellas de plástico reciclado PET e hilo de poliéster reciclado, por lo que puede presentar pequeñas trazas, hilos o borra dada su naturaleza reciclada y cuya aparición, aunque se de en un % bajo de ocasiones, es totalmente arbitraria e inevitable. También presenta unos indices de encogimiento relevantes que pueden oscilar entre un 4-9 % de encogimiento a lo largo del tejido y un 2% al ancho en función de la pieza. |
The base fabric, Recycled PET Canvas - Dallas, is a polyester canvas with a weight of 260 gr/m2 and a fabric width of 160 cm. Its printed plain color is a Toasted Carmine Brown, with a CMYK content of 27 89 58 25. The color is a warm and earthy tone that combines well with shades of orange and yellow, as well as darker and deeper tones like forest green.
The fabrics texture is rough and rigid to the touch and opaque in appearance. The fabric is printed with the plain color on one side by digital textile printing, which means it is not a dyed fabric but is printed on the fabrics surface. Digital textile printing allows for the creation of high-quality and durable designs.
Among the general characteristics of the fabric are its resistance and durability, which makes it ideal for both decorative and fashion and accessories applications. Furthermore, thanks to its recycled polyester composition and GRS certification, the fabric contributes to sustainability.
The applications and uses of the base fabric include decorating frames and pictures, outdoor cushions, fashion trousers for men and women, accessories like wallets and backpacks, among others. It can also be used for upholstering sofas, chairs, and armchairs, as well as for making aprons and hats.
It is important to consider the necessary care for the fabric, which includes washing at a maximum temperature of 30ºC, no bleaching, cold ironing, and allowing dry cleaning with solvents. Additionally, it can be tumble dried at a reduced temperature.
The printing technology used to create this fabric is sublimation. During this process, dyes turn into gas and bind to the fabric fibers, creating a high-quality and durable print on the fabrics surface. This printing process is environmentally friendly and produces minimal waste.
