The base fabric is a Polyester Lycra called Cairo, weighing 220 gr/m2, composed of 90% polyester and 10% elastane. Its weight is 220 gr/m2 and its width is 150 cm. The printed design features nature motifs, predominantly plants, leaves, and maritime themes, including animals like the koi fish. The predominant colors are multicolor, allowing for combination with solid colors such as white, black, and blue. It is important to note that the fabric is printed with the design on one side only, using digital textile printing.
The Cairo fabric has a soft and elastic texture, allowing it to adapt to the body. Furthermore, it is chlorine-resistant and has a very high UV protection factor of 50+. The printed design, for its part, gives a fresh, nature-inspired touch, making it ideal for sportswear, lingerie, swimwear, and tops.
It is important to consider the care instructions for the fabric, such as not bleaching, not tumble drying, and ironing at a cool temperature. It is recommended to wash at a maximum of 40ºC and it allows for dry cleaning, except with trichloroethylene.
The printing technology used on this fabric is sublimation, which uses polyester as the base material for printing. The ink transforms into vapor when heated and permeates the fabric fibers, making it more resistant to wear and fading.
