Esta referencia de tela está fabricada a partir de botellas de plástico reciclado PET e hilo de poliéster reciclado, por lo que puede presentar pequeñas trazas, hilos o borra dada su naturaleza reciclada y cuya aparición, aunque se de en un % bajo de ocasiones, es totalmente arbitraria e inevitable. También presenta unos indices de encogimiento relevantes que pueden oscilar entre un 4-9 % de encogimiento a lo largo del tejido y un 2% al ancho en función de la pieza. |
The Recycled PET Canvas - Dallas is a canvas-type fabric made of 100% polyester, with a weight of 260 gr/m2 and a width of 160 cm in white. The CMYK of the plain color printed on the fabric is 53-41-2-0, with a bluish hue and a cornflower nuance that creates a fresh and serene appearance in an environment. The color blue is a symbol of tranquility, harmony, and trust, symbolizing the sea and the sky. This hue harmonizes very well with warm and natural ranges such as off-white, beige, brown, light gray, and pastel pink.
The fabric is printed with the plain color on one side using digital textile printing. It is important to note that it is not a dyed fabric, but printed. The main characteristics of the fabric are its rough, rigid, and opaque texture, which provides a rustic, resistant, and durable appearance.
Among the fabrics attributes, its applications stand out, which include interior and exterior decoration, fashion, accessories, and home textiles, such as cushions, placemats, baskets, among others. The fabric can also be used to upholster sofas, chairs, and armchairs. The recycled canvas is a very versatile and resistant fabric, so it adapts to different needs and uses.
Regarding recommended care, the fabric should be washed at a maximum temperature of 30ºC, not bleached, and can be tumble dried at reduced temperature. In addition, it is recommended not to iron at high temperature and dry cleaning with solvents is possible.
The printing technology used to manufacture this fabric is sublimation (polyester), a process that consists of transferring the printed design from a paper support by means of pressure and heat to the surface of the fabric. Sublimation allows obtaining high print quality, vibrant colors, and excellent resistance to washing and sunlight.
