Esta referencia de tela está fabricada a partir de botellas de plástico reciclado PET e hilo de poliéster reciclado, por lo que puede presentar pequeñas trazas, hilos o borra dada su naturaleza reciclada y cuya aparición, aunque se de en un % bajo de ocasiones, es totalmente arbitraria e inevitable. También presenta unos indices de encogimiento relevantes que pueden oscilar entre un 4-9 % de encogimiento a lo largo del tejido y un 2% al ancho en función de la pieza. |
The Recycled PET Canvas - Dallas is a canvas-type fabric made of 100% polyester with a weight of 260 gr/m2 and a width of 160 cm. The solid color printed on this fabric is Baby Blue, which is formed by a mixture of 64% cyan ink, 15% magenta ink, 0% yellow ink, and 0% black ink in its digital textile printing process. This color conveys a feeling of tranquility and calm, simulating the color of the sky early in the day. Its symbolism is related to serenity, innocence, and youth, and its perfect combination is with pastel and neutral colors.
Regarding the characteristics of the base fabric and the printed color, this fabric has a rough and rigid texture, while the solid color has an opaque visual texture. It is important to note that this fabric is printed on one side by digital textile printing; it is not a dyed fabric. In terms of its applications and uses, it can be used for making fashion garments for women and men, such as pants and accessories, as well as for interior decoration, in cushions, upholstery for sofas and chairs, as well as making baskets, placemats, and kitchen aprons.
As for fabric care, it is important not to bleach it and to wash it at a maximum temperature of 30°C. In addition, it can be dry cleaned with solvents, ironed at a cool temperature, and tumble dried at a reduced temperature. It is important to take these precautions into account to maintain the quality and preservation of the fabric.
Finally, the printing technology used for the manufacture of the Recycled PET Canvas - Dallas is sublimation (polyester), which allows the reproduction of images and designs in full color and with great sharpness. This technique is carried out by transferring a design printed on special paper, which, by applying heat and pressure, is transferred to the surface of the fabric.
