Esta referencia de tela está fabricada a partir de botellas de plástico reciclado PET e hilo de poliéster reciclado, por lo que puede presentar pequeñas trazas, hilos o borra dada su naturaleza reciclada y cuya aparición, aunque se de en un % bajo de ocasiones, es totalmente arbitraria e inevitable. También presenta unos indices de encogimiento relevantes que pueden oscilar entre un 4-9 % de encogimiento a lo largo del tejido y un 2% al ancho en función de la pieza. |
The Recycled PET Canvas - Dallas is a 260 gr/m2 polyester fabric in a solid Ice Blue color, with a combination of inks that result in a CMYK of 42 5 13 0. This secondary color evokes the freshness and calm of water and combines well with cool tones such as grays, dark greens, and purples. It is important to mention that the fabric is printed with the solid color on one side only using digital textile printing.
In terms of general characteristics, the Recycled PET Canvas - Dallas has a rough and rigid texture to the touch, while visually it presents an opaque appearance. On the other hand, the fabric is 100% polyester and, thanks to the sublimation technology with which it is printed, it is resistant to washing and daily use, maintaining its texture and color intact.
As for applications and uses, the Recycled PET Canvas - Dallas is perfect for use in both interior and exterior decoration, in the creation of fashion accessories, and in household items. It can be used to adorn frames, paintings, cushions, baskets, or as upholstery for sofas, chairs, and armchairs, among others.
It is important to follow the recommended care for this base fabric, such as not bleaching it, washing it at a maximum temperature of 30ºC, ironing it at a cool temperature, and tumble drying at a reduced temperature. Likewise, it is possible to dry clean the Recycled PET Canvas - Dallas with solvents.
The printing technology used to manufacture this base fabric is sublimation. This thermal transfer process involves applying ink to special sublimation paper and then subjecting the fabric to a high temperature, at which point the paper releases the ink and it is fixed. In this way, the Recycled PET Canvas - Dallas achieves a vibrant and durable color.
