Esta referencia de tela está fabricada a partir de botellas de plástico reciclado PET e hilo de poliéster reciclado, por lo que puede presentar pequeñas trazas, hilos o borra dada su naturaleza reciclada y cuya aparición, aunque se de en un % bajo de ocasiones, es totalmente arbitraria e inevitable. También presenta unos indices de encogimiento relevantes que pueden oscilar entre un 4-9 % de encogimiento a lo largo del tejido y un 2% al ancho en función de la pieza. |
The Recycled PET Canvas - Dallas is a resistant and sustainable fabric, composed of 100% polyester with a weight of 260 gr/m2 and a width of 160 cm. Its plain printed color is a matte blue, obtained with a cyan ink of 93, a magenta ink of 75, and no yellow or black ink. This secondary color, matte blue, evokes the tranquility and serenity of the sea, making it a perfect reference for home decoration and fashion. It is a color that can be easily combined with other shades of blue and the gray range, both light and dark.
It is important to mention that the base fabric is printed with the plain color on one side by digital textile printing, so it is not a dyed fabric but a printed one. Regarding its general characteristics, the recycled canvas is a fabric with rough, rigid, and opaque textures, with a firm and resistant feel. In addition, it has GRS certification and is suitable for a wide variety of applications and uses, such as home decoration, fashion, and other textiles, both indoors and outdoors.
Among the applications and uses of this fabric, highlights include decorating pictures, making cushions, baskets or toiletry bags, as well as upholstery for sofas, chairs, and armchairs. It is also a perfect option for making pants, hats, and bags, whether backpacks, wallets, or tote bags. The fabric is timeless, so its use is not limited to a particular season. On the other hand, it is a sustainable and recycled fabric, which makes it an environmentally friendly option.
Regarding fabric care, bleaching should be avoided, and it should be washed at a maximum temperature of 30ºC. Dry cleaning with solvents and cold ironing are allowed, as well as tumble drying at reduced temperature.
Finally, the printing technology used to manufacture this fabric is sublimation (polyester), which is carried out through a process that converts solid pigments into gas, penetrating the fabric and solidifying inside. This process guarantees high print quality and color durability, which resists the action of sun and water.
