The Transparent Gauze – Salamanca is a delicate and lightweight fabric with a transparent texture and visual appearance, allowing light to pass through it. The printed design, digitally printed on one side, consists of spiderweb shapes and lines in shades of jam purple, Cadillac pink, and iris purple, conveying a sense of mystery and sophistication. The design could be combined with plain tones of pale pink, light gray, or off-white.
The base fabric is characterized by its 100% polyester composition, its weight of 28 gr/m2 and width of 150 cm, with a thin and soft touch. The printed design adds a very attractive visual and aesthetic finish to the fabric. The Transparent Gauze – Salamanca is mainly used for making lingerie, dresses, skirts, and sarongs for summer as it is cool and comfortable, but it can also be used for making accessories such as scarves.
To properly care for this fabric, it is recommended not to bleach it and to machine wash it at a maximum temperature of 30ºC. It is advisable to use a dry cleaning process except for trichloroethylene and to iron it at a cool temperature. It cannot be tumble dried.
The printing technology used in the manufacture of Transparent Gauze – Salamanca is sublimation (polyester), a technique that allows high-quality designs to be printed on polyester fabrics. This technology ensures that the designs are sharp and durable, regardless of how many washes the fabric receives.
