Esta referencia de tela está fabricada a partir de botellas de plástico reciclado PET e hilo de poliéster reciclado, por lo que puede presentar pequeñas trazas, hilos o borra dada su naturaleza reciclada y cuya aparición, aunque se de en un % bajo de ocasiones, es totalmente arbitraria e inevitable. También presenta unos indices de encogimiento relevantes que pueden oscilar entre un 4-9 % de encogimiento a lo largo del tejido y un 2% al ancho en función de la pieza. |
The base fabric, Recycled PET Canvas - Dallas, is a 100% polyester canvas fabric with a weight of 260 gr/m2 and a width of 160 cm. Regarding its plain printed color, it is a uniform blue whose CMYK attributes are 100 93 19 4. This color combines particularly well with warm tones such as orange and red, but also with more neutral tones such as gray.
It is important to mention that the fabric is printed with the plain color on one side using digital textile printing, which means it is not a dyed fabric but rather the print has been applied directly to the surface.
As for the general characteristics of the fabric, it has a rough and rigid texture, with an opaque visual appearance. In addition, the fabric is GRS certified and is sustainable, being made from recycled materials.
Among the applications and uses of the base fabric, we highlight its use in decoration, both for stretcher bars and for paintings and cushions. It is also a good option for fashion, including trousers, accessories, wallets, and backpacks, among others. Furthermore, it can be used in the manufacture of placemats and table runners for home decoration, as well as for upholstering sofas, chairs, and armchairs.
Regarding the care of the fabric, it is important not to bleach it and to wash it at a maximum temperature of 30ºC. Dry cleaning with solvents and ironing at a cool temperature are also recommended. Finally, the fabric can be tumble dried at a reduced temperature.
Lastly, the printing technology used to manufacture this fabric is sublimation on polyester. This printing technique involves transferring ink directly onto the fabric through heat and pressure, which allows for high resolution and durability of the printed color.
