The base fabric is Polyester Lycra - Cairo of 220 gr/m2, with a composition of 90% polyester and 10% elastane. The solid color is Dark Pumpkin Orange, with a CMYK of 13 48 70 2. This secondary color is a mix of red and yellow, generating a warm and vibrant color. It combines well with colors like white, black, and gold, which help enhance its intensity.
It is important to note that the fabric is printed with the solid color on one side only using digital textile printing, which means that the other side of the fabric remains unprinted and can be of a different color or texture.
The general characteristics of the base fabric are its elastic and soft touch texture, in addition to having a chlorine-resistant finish and very high UV protection of 50+. The printed solid color has a soft touch texture and a matte finish, providing an elegant and sophisticated look to the garment in which it is used.
Regarding its applications and uses, the fabric is suitable for making sportswear such as bikinis and swimsuits, as well as for creating high-quality tops and underwear thanks to its texture and elasticity. Additionally, it can also be used to make scrunchies and knitted garments such as sweaters and scarves for autumn or winter.
It is important to consider the recommended care for the base fabric, which includes not bleaching, washing at a maximum temperature of 40ºC, and ironing at a cool temperature. Furthermore, dry cleaning is allowed except with trichloroethylene and it is not suitable for tumble drying.
Finally, the printing technology used to manufacture this fabric is sublimation, which allows colors to be printed directly onto the fabric by impregnating inks into the material, resulting in a crisp, high-quality image.
