The base fabric for this garment is polyester Lycra, specifically Cairo 220 gr/m². The solid color printed is a pig pink, composed of 4% cyan ink, 12% magenta ink, 3% yellow ink, and 0% black ink, making it a vibrant and striking color. It combines perfectly with neutral tones like black and white, as well as with pastel shades and warm colors.
This fabric is printed with the solid color on one side using digital textile printing, which means the ink is applied directly to the surface of the fabric and penetrates the fibers, creating a durable and fade-resistant result.
The Polyester Lycra - Cairo 220 gr/m² fabric is elastic and soft to the touch due to its composition of 90% polyester and 10% elastane, which gives it a soft and elastic texture at the same time. Additionally, it features a chlorine-resistant finish and very high UV protection of 50+, making it suitable for use in swimsuits and other sportswear and outdoor garments.
This fabric is ideal for making sportswear and swimsuits, as well as lingerie, tops, and knitwear. It is also suitable for accessories like scrunchies due to its elasticity and resistance.
Regarding care instructions, it is recommended to wash at no more than 40ºC and iron at a low temperature. It is not safe to bleach or tumble dry, but dry cleaning is permitted with the exception of trichloroethylene.
The printing technology used in the creation of this fabric is sublimation (polyester), which is a process where the ink vaporizes and binds directly to the fabric fibers to create a vibrant and durable image. This printing process is ideal for synthetic fabrics like polyester Lycra and allows for high precision in the reproduction of images and colors, resulting in a high-quality and long-lasting finish.
