The base fabric is Polyester Lycra - Cairo, weighing 220 gr/m2, with a composition of 90% polyester and 10% elastane. Its width is 150 cm and it is chlorine resistant, making it ideal for use in sports and swimwear. The plain printed color is a pale pink, with a CMYK of 1 20 9 0. This color evokes a feeling of sweetness and delicacy, being ideal for feminine and coquettish garments. Combined with other colors such as white, black, and gray, it provides an interesting and modern contrast.
This fabric is printed with the plain color on one side only using digital textile printing, which means the design is applied only to one face of the fabric. The Polyester Lycra - Cairo is an elastic fabric, soft to the touch, and offers very high UV protection of 50+. These characteristics make it ideal for making sports garments such as tops, swimsuits, and bikinis, as well as lingerie, bodysuits, and bras/bralettes. It is also suitable for making knitted garments and scrunchies.
It is important to note the care instructions for this fabric: wash at a maximum temperature of 40ºC without bleaching, iron at a cool temperature, and do not tumble dry. Although dry cleaning is allowed, the use of trichloroethylene is not recommended.
The printing technology used on this fabric is polyester sublimation. This means that the ink penetrates directly into the fabrics fibers, resulting in high resolution and durability of the printed design. Digital textile printing is also a more sustainable production method, as it reduces the amount of waste and the need for water and energy compared to other fabric dyeing methods.
