The base fabric is a Polyester Lycra, Cairo 220 gr/m2, with a composition of 90% Polyester and 10% Elastane. This fabric has a weight of 220 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm. The printed color is Leather Brown, with the following CMYK values: 14 41 55 3. This color symbolizes elegance, sophistication, and style. Technically, it is a dark color that masterfully combines the warmth of brown with the strength of leather. This secondary color pairs very well with neutral and light tones, such as beige or white, and also complements more vibrant colors, such as red or green.
It is worth noting that the base fabric is digitally printed with a solid color on one side only, meaning that only one side of the fabric is printed. The general characteristics of the base fabric are its elastic and soft texture, chlorine resistance, and a very high UV protection factor of 50+. As for the printed color, it boasts excellent fixation and durability.
The applications and uses of this fabric are very varied and extensive, making it ideal for sportswear, for women, men, and children; lingerie, such as bodysuits and bras; fashion, such as tops and knitwear; swimwear, such as bikinis and swimsuits; and for making accessories such as scrunchies. Furthermore, thanks to its composition and texture, it is perfect for creating comfortable and body-hugging garments.
It is important to consider the necessary care to maintain the quality of the fabric. Bleaching the fabric is not recommended, and the maximum washing temperature is 40ºC. It can be dry cleaned, except with trichloroethylene, it can be ironed at a cool temperature, and it cannot be tumble dried.
Finally, the printing technology used to manufacture this fabric is sublimation (polyester), a transfer technique in which the ink is printed on special paper and transferred to the fabric using heat and pressure, achieving a high-quality and durable print.
